In 2016 and at the age of 75 with most of the company's machinery being old also, but with 5m+ sales of 200 magazine titles Tony Stokes decided to go into semi-retirement and entered into a partnership with Andrew Jones the owner of Stephens & George Print Group, itself 105 years old and this then created the largest magazine printing group within the UK at 30m sales and between them producing close on 1000 magazine titles.

Our Estimating Team are responsible for sharpening their pencils to achieve the most competitive price available for your publication. We offer good advice and customer service and will go that extra mile to help. Your Estimator will be able to advise you on any aspect of your print requirements, from the paper stocks we hold in-house, to specialist papers, free samples, the different types of finishing, binding, through to the final mailing and/or despatch of your job.We will establish a production and delivery schedule with yourselves to ensure that your magazine will be delivered on time, every time with good communication throughout.

Aqueous coating is a popular type of clear top coat applied to printed surfaces. It helps protect the ink and paper against scuffs, abrasions and smudges, especially for silk papers. In addition to protection, Aqueous Coating enhances the appearance of printed pieces by providing some sheen, which in turn helps make colours appear more vivid.

UV coating, or ultraviolet coating, is a very glossy, shiny liquid coating applied to a printed paper surface and cured on a printing press or special machine using ultraviolet light. The coating hardens, or cures when it is exposed to ultra violet radiation. UV coating makes your printed piece eye catching, and is perfect for magazine, brochure or catalogue covers as it gives a rich, glossy and dramatic look.
