GoWise Print was formed by Ken and Joyce Gorvin in the early eighties and has been carefully built into a thriving business, based in Thorpe St Andrew, Norwich. Their son, Nick, joined in 1992 to ensure that the company remained a family business well into the future. Services
On a lithographic press, an aluminium printing plate is first coated with water which is repelled by the image, followed by a coating of printing ink which is repelled by the water thus "inking up" the required image. This image is then transferred to the paper via a system of transfer rollers. This method is fast and extremely accurate.
Square Back Bind is folding and stapling with a proper spine and square fold to give the effect of a perfect (or PUR) bound book without the glue. Multiple stitching options can instantly stitch with any number of staples from two to six allowing 2 or three up production of small books. The static stitch head ensures consistent alignment and quality.

I contacted Gowise print to ask if they would change the spine on a book to a wire spiral bound. As a colourist it make the art of colouring so much more enjoyable. I spoke to Nick over the phone and although he said he would try for me, he wasn't quiet sure until he saw my book, what I was asking! (Wasn't sure I had explained myself correctly over the phone).
I had been given their number by another printing company and boy was I glad they had. Nick was extremely helpful and even charged me less then quoted only charging 5. I now have a lovely wire bound book and a very happy colourist I shall spread the good news on our colouring pages on Facebook and I shall be back with more! Thank you Nick at Gowise Print. The individual's at Gowise Print, particularly Nick, have always been incredibly helpful. I often have pieces of work that i need copying and binding as part of my Chartership and the work that they produce is of an impeccable standard. There are never pages missing from the copies they make, they even allow me to check through a PDF file they send to me to ensure no pages are missed.
The books they produce I have no complaints with. I have my work PUR bound and i cannot recommend this enough for individuals submitting work as part of their degree, masters or like myself for a chartership. Aside from the quality of the books produced, Gowise have always been flexible to my needs and produce work in a timely manner, especially when i have tight deadlines. I have had such good service from Gowise I now live over an hour away but will still go here to have my work bound. i cannot recommend Gowise enough

Nick at Gowise Print was extremely helpful throughout the whole process, spending lots of time talking me through and trying out different paper thickness and binding options, and making last minute improvements to the photo quality to ensure the best possible printing result.
In the end I opted for perfect bound books with a laminated finish and the journals came out looking amazing - even better than I had hoped for! The staff at Gowise Print also advised me on parcel couriers and even helped me package and weigh all the journals which I had to post to different worldwide locations, saving me lots of time and extra work. If you are looking for a cheap, friendly, professional and extremely competent printer - look no further!

Please, please, please, before you google 'cheap printers Norwich', stop and consider how important the following are to you: a) excellent quality products b) first class (and I mean, first class) customer service. If you want a cheap print job, go online; if you want a cost-effective solution to all your print and design requirements, serviced by a local company that knows the true meaning of 'customer service' then call Gowise.
In this day and age of lacklustre (at best) or non-existent customer service, this local firm bucks the trend by delivering consistently excellent products and services. And, no, I'm not employed by them! Just a very happy customer.
